Know the past. Enjoy the present. Protect the future.
The My Parks Pass program encourages students to discover Canada’s natural treasures and to uncover its rich history. Through in-classroom resources, contest, field trips and toolkits students learn about Parks Canada’s places in the classroom and first hand.
The program also encourages students to experience Parks Canada places with their families. Every spring, grade 8/secondary 2 students receive the free My Parks Pass from their teacher to take home. The pass provides an instant discount on a daily or annual family/group Discovery Pass for an entire year. For the first time, passes will not be distributed during the 2016/2017 school year. This is because Parks Canada is helping to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday with free entry for ALL visitors in 2017! There is no better time to get out and discover what Canada has to offer! Plan your visit now!
